Everyday Fruit Cake

This is a perfect old time afternoon tea and cake fruit cake with simple flavours, sweet sultanas, slightly tart currants, and little pieces of Glace Cherries.

This fruit cake has a light crumb with a generous amount of fruit, and a tiny amount of spices - perfect for every day, this cake will have you coming back time and again for just another little slice if you're a fruit cake lover.

This is an 8-inch cake and will happily serve at least 8 to 10 slices
