Peppermint Layer Drip Cake

If Peppermint is your thing this is the cake for you! Three layers of light sponge cake, delicately flavoured with Peppermint. The layers are sandwiched together with light, silky Peppermint Buttercream containing tiny pieces of Peppermint sweets, and the entire cake is then covered with more Buttercream. 

The pictured cake was designed for Christmas and is decorated with a red, white chocolate gnache drip, mint Imperials and mint Poppets dipped in green, white chocolate ganache, liberally sprinkled with pieces of candy cane and sprayed with gold highlights, but colours and sweets could be changed to your liking, for example blues, lilacs and pinks with silver dusted clear mints for a delicate, icy, Frozen themed cake.
